hahaha i just noticed you guy saw my add for the boats on ebay. Yes I will be sporting the FX SHO and I'm happy to announce the RIVA RACING stickers that were on my GPR will now actually be backed by RIVA RACING on the SHO, they decided to sponsor me this year so Pete (guy at riva) is going to give me a huge discount on parts =). Reason i backed out of nationals last season was my gpr just wasn't quick enough in stock for the hole shot and if I placed in nationals they would have disqualified me for having the cat removed.

I have heard good things about the FX SHO. I am looking foward to seeing it race. It is about time YAM came out with a 4 Stroke that was good enough to race.

Yeah Pete at Riva got to test race the boat stock and he said it handled awesome, if you want to attack the turns hard instead of sweeping them you can. Boat doesn't lose its rear if you take a turn hard so the handling is similar to that of a GPR but has the power to get it through the turns. He also said that when the boat is going 65mph it actually sounds like it is going 65mph, the hule is loud when it smacks the water due to the new nano technology, which i don't mind at all. My dads black one is at the dealership now, were just waiting on the blue one I ordered. So im very excited for this upcoming race season. Is anyone planning on going to New York for the Toyota race, cause I am probably gonna do it.

Congrats on making the Riva Racing Support team, Nick. I applied the day Pete Birnbryer made the announcement that they were accepting applications, and I tricked them into "sponsoring" me too ;). Prices, from what I can tell, are the same as standard dealer prices. I was already set up through a local motorcycle shop as well as my buddy in Florida (World of Powersports) to buy at dealer cost, and all the prices Pete has given me are basically the same. Oh well, can't look a gift horse in the mouth in this poor-ass sport :)...

Congrats Nick!

Just remember to do your head checks for the 120 hp Honda to be passing you . . . ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha (sorry, I had to say it). I have heard good for the new Yamaha.

I went to the G.B. boat show and they only had 06 Honda's and 2 Kawasaki's. No other models. All in all I am happy I went to the boat show. I can't wait to see the new pwc's on the water.

Super Pete at Riva is a great guy, and originally from region 6 (MI, sport racer). Good job on the Riva Hook Up. I've also been greatful on the support they have been giving me now for the second season.

See everyone at the first round.

Nice to see you back in the fold LOL .

I do want to try out you boat if you let me. I am concidering one for 2009.

PS cat removal is OK it is in the rules that way. That and they do head removal and that is only after the final or if you place in the top 3.

Anyway great to see you back.
