Are you putting the engine in your Hydro?

Spencer is skipping Expert Limited all together and heading straight up to Pro GP Ski, AND his old hydro motor is going in his ATV - so at least it can still be a racing write-off for SS Racing Inc.

Saweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!

Should have a price for it? MPEM included? Total price? Dude...fix the Hydro, The 951 is the biggest pile of crap ever made. The only engine you can be sure will fail...its only a question of when.

Get a SXR hull and drop a 1100 triple in it. Then you could at least race AM Open and GP with it.

In reality, none of this is cheap. Your idea about the superjet in stock class is probably the best idea you could have. At least you'd have a play boat and race boat.

x2 on that idea. To me, this seems like a logical way to build a crazy fast stand-up that can run on pump gas (well, LOTS and LOTS of pump gas, technically), but can go much longer between rebuilds than a competitive limited sxr, assuming you leave the 1100 motor fairly stock.

BINGO!!

The problem with deciding which sea doo motor is the worst one ever made is that you'd have so many entries in that contest, that you'd have to first have heats and an LCQ before even getting to the main event.

From what I've seen, there is a significant difference between the 947 DI motors and the carburated 951s.

Regardless, if I could ride a true "open" class ski properly today, I'd drop an 1100 kawi motor in a sxr long before I'd build a kawidoo or hydrodoo.

Who knows, maybe I'll wind up with an old non-powervalve GP1200 motor or 1100 raider motor in one of my SNs one of these days :):):)...

Yea that 1100 kawi would be fun, I just dont ever wanna leave the hydro hull, ive never ridden anything better.

Why don't you put a good motor in the hydro? cause a motor in a watercraft that's allergic to H2O is never going to cut it over the long run. I rode the hydro a few years back and the hull was'nt all that, but the motor was set up for stock class (no boost). Did you get the Hydro fixed? Spenc, what boat are you going to race this year? You sure ride the SXR hull good, whats the matter with that?

Scott the hull you rode and mine are totally different, rideplate, sanding, sponsons, and a lot more little stuff that noone does that adds up, just like the difference between a stock sxr hull and a well set up sxr hull. My ski is in the process of being fixed right now. I plan on racing my boat unless its big waves and then I would ride a sxr. I can ride the hydro alot faster too, especially in race chop or pump wash.

Your doing 5 lbs in stock class on our tour??
