Practice on the Pond

Wondering when everyone is going to start riding and getting some practice in. I spent 2 hours out today. Wanted to make sure she was running good. I am planning on heading out for this storm on Saturday, small craft advisory with 6 foot rollers...should be fun. Post when and where you guys are thinking of going out through the season, always better to have someone else with you.

No matter how tempting, NEVER ride in surf alone, especially cold surf. I had a very near-drowning experience in the storms that hit after hurricane Ike in 2008 when I got my blaster washed away from me in 8 to 10 footers - all because I was in a hurry and went out before others were in the water. One minute I felt like I was in complete control, and 2 minutes later I was drowning. No joke. I'm lucky to still be here today after that stupid stunt.
