Racing in Illinois

Was just looking to see for next season if people would want to race in Illinois? I'm from Naperville and I go down to the city quite a bit and thought north avenue beach in downtown chicago would be an AMAZING spot to host a race because of the amount of people that would see the event. I think it would really boost recognition of the sport which would benefit everyone supporting the sport already. Anyways just thought i'd mention that idea and see what people have to say about it.

I'd definitely be up for racing in the Chicago Area. There are some good spots for racing. North Ave beach is a great spot. IL Beach state park by Zion is another great spot. They used to have the national tour there and it always attracted spectators.

There were a few spot that the Midwest Watercross tour used to run that were really good but for some reason they stopped having races there. One was Manteno, IL and the other was Michigan City, IN. I would love to see some races there but I'm selfish those are both within an hours drive of me.

Yeah those spots are good too! I'm from Naperville so those spots are just hours away from me also. Hey Scott could we possibly bring back racing to illinois? pretty please =)!
