I think that I am going to paint it on the ski. It needs new paint anyway. I am sure if there was an award for ugliest boat I would win. But then again the colors that were on the older skis might be worse.

Also my ski does not have a bumper. The previous owner removed it. I read in the rule book that the bumper can be replaced but does not say it can be removed. Is this going to be a problem?

This is a problem for 2 reasons. 1. It's a safety concern 2. It can damage a buoy out on a race course. I've seen many buoys get cut because of a ski's edges are sharp.

I just ordered some 1 1/8 molding for it today. I am sure I will do my share of bobbing in the water myself.
