August 9th Sheboygan Race Reappeared Today

Yep, it went bye-bye, and now it's back.

As of 2/12/09 at 9:46am Central Standard Time, the GLW 2009 schedule is as follows:

Dates and Race Sites


May, 30 & 31 Pleasant Prairie WI.

June, 28 LaCrosse WI.

July, 25 & 26 Kenosha WI.

Aug, 9 Sheboygan WI.

Round and round she goes, where the schedule stops nobody knows.

No panic here, just amazement...

Maybe we just gotta stop checking it more than once a week [:p].

Every winter in Burlington on Echo Lake (right in town), where they have the APBA hydroplane races every Memorial weekend BTW, they put a junk car out on the ice and people basically bet on what day it will fall through the ice (kind of a fundraiser). We could use that date as kind of an over/under for the GLW schedule - either it's finalized before the car falls through the ice (under) or it ain't (over).

Who wants to take the under???
