View Full Version : Not linked from GLW
Folks,
The link from the Great Lakes Watercross website has been removed. Not sure why but I am not going to pursue it. Please spread the word to folks you know that use the forum by going to GLWC.com to get here.
Thanks
JB

Obama did it.
It's all a part of his plan for hope and change.
Change how prospective racers find out about racing, then hope they show up at the beach on race day...
Damn that is what I was affraid of, Barry did it.

No worries Joe. I guess I could shut down the forum and keep us all from talking about the upcoming season. But I would not want to do that, we are having to much fun. I have received a request to link the forum to another site that would get us some more exposure. The site is twangled.com, let me know your thoughts on this. I think it would open up the forum to some new members and a little different side of the sport. Maybe get some more freestyle riders to the events.
At this point I show up on race day, pay entry fee, race moto's, and drink beer after last moto. Maybe help out with other racers if needed.

link it up the more the merrier.. it would be nice to be back on the glwc site also...
It is what it is. We are non profit and he has to keep it seperate from his business. But then again we are what makes or breaks his business. Last season I had to have him relink it and I am done with it.

Link it to twangled. Gary and Greg are good guys. I talked with them when they performed in michigan last year. I don't see how it could hurt anyhow...

Joe, we don't even take you seriously in person.
'Cept for the luka=beootcha stuff...
Mike Hoffman is also a blast to watch on the water. I emailed Gary back about the link exchange. See what comes out of this. May take a little more moderation from us.

Speaking of moderation, I can think of one forum we all know about where the lack of moderation is astounding at times, and another where I saw that personal threats as well as a death threat was apparently permitted.
Anyhow, I'd be curious to know what would be expected of us, and happy to oblige any reasonable requests. Just keep us informed, please, JB.
yes more moderation from us. not saying that it will be needed but I think you know what should be allowed and what shouldn't. You should have the ability to lock forums and edit posts that are not good natured. As for the spammers they should be stopped before they can even post with the mods I made awhile back.
